India's Small GiantsSME’s or Small and medium-sized enterprises are very important to the economy of any growing country. These Small Enterprises have been seen as the driving factors for innovations and competition in many sectors of the economy. These enterprises outnumber the large-cap companies by a huge margin and also provided employment opportunity to a lot more people too.

In a latest estimate SME’s account for 45 per cent of industrial output, 40 per cent of the country’s export, employ about 60 million people and create about 1.3 million jobs every year.
